Beauty & Personal Care operations FAQs

  • Franlever monitors sales recorded in a supported POS and identifies a useful lever for each location that needs attention. Examples include checking an increase in comps and discounts or investigating a fall in average ticket. Owners get a portfolio brief; managers get their location’s lever.

  • Not yet. For beauty and personal care businesses, Franlever currently reads transactions recorded in Square. Appointments, payments, and client records held only in Boulevard, Vagaro, or Zenoti are not available through a direct connection today.

  • A Square sales connection alone does not provide a complete appointment or client-retention record. Franlever can analyze the sales it receives, but it does not infer chair utilization, no-shows, or repeat-client rates without the relevant source data.

  • No. Hourly labor uses clocked hourly work supplied by a connected system. Stylist commissions and booth rent are outside that calculation. The view can help with hourly coverage, but it is not a complete salon payroll or margin report.

  • Yes, after confirming their email and separately opting into SMS. Managers can reply DONE, LATER, or WRONG in the same text thread. They do not need a Franlever account to receive the location’s lever.

  • It compares available signals for locations in the same brand that you can access. Sales, average ticket, and connected customer ratings can help identify where to investigate. Appointment and commission measures remain unavailable unless the required data is connected.
